Crossing the Mississippi River from Venice, Illinois, into Saint Louis, Missouri, is a westbound Terminal Railroad Association of Saint Louis freight 100, heading from TRRA's Madison Yard to Norfolk Southern's Luther Yard, pulled by the TRRA's two SD60I locomotives: TRRA 4001 (ex-CSXT 8736, née-CR 5612) and 4002 (ex-CSXT 8744, née-CR 5631). The Merchants Bridge (officially the Merchants Memorial Mississippi Rail Bridge) is a rail bridge was opened in May 1889.
