On The Road Again. On the night of April 26, 2022, former Delaware, Lackawanna and Western Railway (DLW) MU car 2628 (4628), was sitting on Interstate 80 for the night in White Haven, Pennsylvania. The car was in transit from the Rochester & Genesee Valley Railroad Museum to the Morristown & Erie Railroad, where it is being restored for static display in a local shopping center. This car served on the DLW electric lines in New Jersey for over 50 years before retirement in 1984, and many similar cars are presently housed at museums and tourist railroads.
