PCCs At Night. PCCs dominated the night shoot activities at the National Capital Trolley Museum in Colesville, Maryland on the night of October 15, 2016. DC Transit 1101 (St. Louis Car Company, 1937), Toronto Transit Commission 4602 (CCF, 1951), and Haag 1329 (La Brugeoise et Nivelles, 1971) represent a cross section of the history of the Presidents' Conference Committee (PCC) streetcar design. While the museum's initial focus was on vehicles that operated during the 99 1/2 years of electric traction in Washington DC, it has expanded its mission to include "....supplementing its collections with significant national and international objects to enhance its interpretive programs."
Not
just heritage schemes, not just commemorative schemes - this album is devoted to some of the world's most interesting paint schemes, past or present.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
