Metro-North Railroad has a long standing tradition of photographing their locomotives next to scenic Pollepel Island in the Hudson River. Metro-North's photographer emeritus, Frank English, has always an inspiration for me, and this spot was one of his favorites. It had always been a dream of mine to photograph a train here too, and last week I was finally able to accomplish this with the very special Employee Tribute Locomotive!
Thanks to the approval and cooperation of some of my awesome coworkers, I was able to name the train, track, and exact spot for this photo shoot, and we made a special stop of the Hudson Line Inspection Train to make it happen.
