An Eerily Early Sunset. On the evening of October 16, 2021, NJ Transit NJTR 4519 (ALP-45DP, Erie Lackawanna) had just completed a trip around the loop in Bayhead, New Jersey when it stopped in the yard to prepare for the next trip to Long Branch. While all New Jersey Transit dual modes can be found anywhere on the system at any time, this was one of the first trips on the North Jersey Coast Line for this heritage unit.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
