For the Interregio trains on the Albula line from Chur to St. Moritz and vice versa, the Rhaetian Railway has six ALVRA compositions. In the current timetable, all six are used every day, so there is no reserve. If a train is undergoing scheduled maintenance or even needs to be repaired, a replacement train with older carriages is used, hauled by an “Allegra” ABe 8/12 or a Ge 4/4 II. At Bonaduz, the Ge 4/4 II # 625 is on its way with the IR 1129 from Chur to St. Moritz, with a Bt driving trailer at the end of the train. The first coach behind locomotive B # 2425, a second class type II standard coach built in 1979, still shows a narrow longitudinal stripe according to the older design.
