L&C 8770 is on the point of a three locomotive train working the small yard in Richburg, South Carolina on a hot summer day in June 2024. She is an EMD SD60M built in 1993 for Conrail as CR 5535, to CSXT 8770, to LC 8770. The growth along the tracks, evident in this shot, would simply not be there when the railroad was locally owned.
