Remarks & Notes |
The Thomas Hill Sub is a 17 mile long branch off the Brookfield Sub in northern Missouri. The branch serves as a connection for coal trains coming and going from the Associated Energy Cooperative’s Thomas Hill Energy Center. With 21,000 tons of Wyoming coal, this 2x2 DP'd coal train slowly rolls south past MP 10 and this crystal clear lake. This is the 97th loaded train out of North Antelope Mine bound for Thomas Hill this year. The power plant can barley be seen on the horizon to the right still about 7 miles away via the tracks. |
