Today was really a waterpark day and not much for trains with the cold, cloudy day. While out driving around, I heard the K39 get a warrant to leave Marquette and decided to make a trip out of it. For the most part, it was nice to see some old countryside we haven't seen in a while, but the last 30 minutes came thru, and a couple of keepers were had. The K39 is working west on the Mason City Sub with a 10am crew out of Dubuque that won't make MC by 10 pm tonight. The crew will stop at Calmar and pick up a CSX motor here in 2 miles.
