Built in April 1965 as Terminal Railroad Association 1236, this EMD SW1200 later became Lange-Stegmann Company 1236, then Foster Townsend Rail Logistics 1236, before being sent south to Gulf Coast Railway Service 1236. GCRS 1229 is now back in southern Illinois, near where it was first operated for the TRRA, currently switching cars at Mighty River Recycling, along the Mississippi River near Alton Steel Incorporated.
