Remarks & Notes
Oakley River Station Barge Unloading, on the banks of the Mississippi River, operates a variety of locomotives, in this case GP9 2002 and MP15DC 1345. GP9 2002 is the former Canadian Pacific 8540, rebuilt into CP GP9u 1559. It was later sold to J&L Consulting (JLCX) and then The Prairie Line (as TPLX 2002). MP15 1345 was built by General Motors Electro-Motive Division in February 1975 as Missouri Pacific 1545, later becoming Union Pacific 1345 when the two roads merged. UP later sold it and it became Lange-Stegmann Industrial (LSCO) 1345. (Saint Louis, Missouri – October 4, 2024). Photographed on private property with permission and full PPE.
