CPKC pretty much anywhere in Iowa is in meltdown mode in late 2023. Too much traffic, and not enough resources, is causing a lot of problems moving cars. Mason City seems to be having power issues from what I hear. Many places have cars and they aren't moving. Even though too me there was room in the yard, the K39 crew had to shove their train 5 miles outside of town on the Owatonna Sub and leave the cars. Pretty piss poor idea considering the amount of crossings and the grades, but one thing with railroading now days....its always doing it the hardest way possible.
