| At the far end of the CP Tracy Sub is train 470 beginning its trip from Tracy to Chicago. This is old DM&E trackage that Hunter Harrison sold off in 2014 to the Genesee & Wyoming. RCP&E inbound traffic was light on this Sunday as 470 would only depart with 15 cars for the east with work at New Ulm. Here the crew works around to get power together for the outbound train. CP retain 231 miles of trackage from Minnesota City to Tracy, while the rest of it was sold off. Not real sure how much traffic the CP still gets here? |
