| October 20 was the last day of operation for the Lauterbrunnen - Mürren mountain railroad (BLM) before the autumn overhaul. The oldest railcar from 1913 had its very last day of operation. After the overhaul, new low-floor multiple units will be used, which will run with a higher catenary voltage. This makes it impossible to use this historic vehicle. Railcar 11 has already been transported away and will be on display at the Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne. The photographer also rode it for the first and very last time. |
