| "Fall in the Poconos": Reading & Northern T-1 #2102 wyes her train across the Lehigh River outside of Jim Thorpe, PA on October 19, 2024. Taken from Mt. Pisgah any observer can easily see in almost all directions across the rolling peaks of the Pocono Mountain region and quickly realize why the region's Fall color attracts visitors from across the country and even the world.
The far bridge spanning the Lehigh River was completed in 2020 and enabled the R&N to have one continuous mainline from Reading to Pittston, PA. |
