| We drove 2 hours Thursday to find out the job wasn't working til Monday. With dumb luck and a Kyle chase Sunday, we ended up back around Eads Monday. As advertised, the job left for Weskan elevator on the east end of the line around 07:45. The Colorado Pacific began operating on 122 miles of former Missouri Pacific trackage in southeast Colorado in 2016. The crew left with 1 unit as the other 2 units at Eads had mechanical issues. They were going to get their other SD70 in Pueblo Tuesday, to help pull 45 loads back from Weskan Elevator near Stuart later this week. |
