| CN runs 2 pair of trains in and out of Sault Ste Marie in the far corner of the Upper Peninsula. A450/451, and L544/543 move traffic between Gladstone and The Soo. Here A451 is about 10 miles from The Soo on an all day trip from Gladstone. On the headend, train is carrying 46 loads of ore from the LSI Tilden Mine near Palmer. The train is setup 1x1 Dp-d to help with movement over the aging St. Marys River Bridge at the Soo. The majority of cars on this train is for the huge Algoma Steel Plant right across the river in Sault Ste Marie, ON. |
