Remarks & Notes
The Queens Of Steam Leaves Paradise. On Monday, October 28, 2019 the Virginia Museum of Transportation's former Norfolk and Western Railroad J Class 611 (4-8-4) was moved out onto the Strasburg Railroad's interchange at Leaman Place and picked up by Norfolk Southern for the trip to the North Carolina Transportation Museum in Spencer, NC. As the only ferry move of this round of trips where the engine trailed, it presented some unusual photo opportunities. The 611 is sitting near Leaman Place in Paradise, Pennsylvania as an Amtrak Keystone train passes with ACS-64 AMTK 636 trailing.
