There is always something interesting to find at the Independent Locomotive Service facility south of Holt, Minnesota, and this day was no exception. ILSX 1303 and 938 sit on the Minnesota Northern mainline outside of the shop area in excellent sunlight. ILSX 1303 started as CNW 869 and has been in the leasing circuit later in its life under NREX, GCFX, CITX, and finally ILSX reporting marks.
