| We had been shooting the RCPE Bell Fourche to Rapid City turn earlier in the morning. The night crew had tired the train down, so we knew we had some downtime as far as freight trains went. We decided to drive up to Hill City and shoot the Black Hills Central's first run of the day. This is an impressive little railroad. The grades and sharp curves are something to see. Here we see the BHCR 110 grinding up grade and crossing Old Hill City Road. |
