With around 11 inches of snow west of Sioux City from the 1/09 storm system, the O'Neil Sub blew in pretty badly. The BNSF Northtown Rotary Snowplow was called in to assist in opening the line up out to Osmond. The plowing was light til west of Allen, then the drifts found some height. Unfortunately, the .5 mph plowing and gravel roads that weren't plowed, a lot waiting around went on for us. One place we could get to was the drifts around MP 30. Here, the rotary digs in and does what it does. The crew would plow around 50 miles the 1st 24 hours.
