Four steam locomotives under pressure on the occasion of the open doors day in Balsthal. From left to right: E 3/3 # 1, built in 1909 by Krauss Maffei in Munich for the Kriens-Luzern-Bahn, was later used in the von Roll steel works in Klus. E 3/3 # 2, built 1899 by SLM Winterthur for the Oensingen-Balsthal-Bahn (OeBB). Eb 2/4 # 35 of SBB Historic, built 1891 by Esslingen/Germany. "Mallet" Ed 2x2/2 # 196 of SBB Historic, built 1893 by Maffei, Munich/Germany. All this locomotives are maintained and operated by the Balsthal steam group.
