GTW 4619, one of a small handful of remaining Grand Trunk GP9Rs on CN's roster, leads L5-who-knows-what southbound past the old C&NW depot in downtown Green Bay, WI. This depot used to serve the Flambeau 400 [Chicago - Green Bay] of C&NW's famed 400 series fleet of passenger trains. A GTW GP9R may be a step down from the 400s, but to see something this old and still in its original paint is by far more than enough to keep this foamer happy. This portion of Wisconsin (along with the Lakefront job in Chicago and I want to say some locals in Detroit?) are among the last places where these GTW '9Rs regularly operate due to lack of PTC, so after having them purged from Iowa in the late 2010s, seeing one again was a sight for sore eyes. Taken on the CN Fox River Subdivision.
