The Waycross-Taft mixed is about to duck under US 441 "Orange Blossom Trail"....but if the tracks ran parallel to 441 they'd be there that much quicker. The train will follow the S-Line to Lakeland Junction then turn north on the A-Line to Taft Yard, which is just a couple miles east of 441. At one time, they could have even diverged at Wildwood and run down towards Leesburg then Tavares and on to Orlando & Taft, but that was many rolls of film ago. As it stands, CSXT just recently took out the south leg of Wildwood Wye from that tangent that once was. They left a very small spur on the north leg, complete with active signals, for MOW storage.
