Howellsing To The End. On the night of June 6, 2019, New York, Susquehanna, and Western Railway SU-99 passed under the former Erie Railroad cantilever signals in Howells, New York well after dark. The veteran searchlights were already on borrowed time, and would succumb to the march of progress within the month. Also since departed are matching SD60s NYSW 3804 and 3810, which helped to restore the once again common corporate yellow and black paint to the road train.
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
A recent spike in a personal interest of the skill and work it takes to create and ultimately nail a shot in the dark using flash technology, leads to this album.
