Remarks & Notes
"Wide Cabs & Shopping Carts"

On the afternoon of November 6th, 2024, the Naugatuck Railroad's former CTDOT Budd SPV-2000 "NAUG 1001" was towed by Berkshire & Eastern Railroad "PL-1" to the Berlin Wye on the MRS (Hartford) Line to be turned. The special trip was led by Ottawa Valley Railway (RLK) EMD GP40-2LW #3029, running from Waterbury, CT, to Berlin, CT, and back via the Terryville, New Britain, and Berlin Secondaries.

Ottawa Valley Railway (RLK) EMD GP40-2LW #3029 leads B&E PL-1 past junk piled up at Curtis Street on the New Britain Secondary in New Britain, Connecticut. The CW Resources (former Stanley Works) building sits in the background.
