Remarks & Notes
"SPV Through the Ellis Block"

On the afternoon of November 6th, 2024, the Naugatuck Railroad's former CTDOT Budd SPV-2000 "NAUG 1001" was towed by Berkshire & Eastern Railroad "PL-1" to the Berlin Wye on the MRS (Hartford) Line to be turned. The special trip was led by Ottawa Valley Railway (RLK) EMD GP40-2LW #3029, running from Waterbury, CT, to Berlin, CT, and back via the Terryville, New Britain, and Berlin Secondaries.

In this photo, NAUG 1001 is seen passing the Ellis Block (former Landers, Frary and Clark Company) complex on the Berlin Secondary in New Britain, Connecticut.
