Four on Top. A four-car New York City Transit Authority (NYCTA) Rockaway Shuttle train approaches the South Channel Bridge on the upper level of the trestle that crosses Jamaica Bay. The train is bound for Broad Channel - the next stop - where it will discharge all passengers to connect with A trains to "mainland" Queens, Brooklyn, and Manhattan. The consist is R46 cars manufactured by Pullman-Standard from 1975-1978.
