Remarks & Notes
"NYC Loco, NYC Route Indicator"

On an overcast November 15th, 2024, Metro-North's 40th Anniversary: New York Central Heritage P32AC-DM, MNCW 211, leads turned train 1831 under the CP 112 Route Indicators while traversing the Harlem Line in the Bronx borough of New York City.

The CP 112 Route Indicators are giant LED arrows mounted on an old New York Central signal bridge at MP 11.5 which show whether northbound trains are lined for the Harlem Line (vertical arrow) or New Haven Line (horizontal arrow) at CP 112. This is one of two route indicator systems on Metro-North's territory, the other located just south of CP 5 (MO) on the Harlem River Bridge.
