One year ago, the 6324 was the talk of south Central Florida. Here it is teamed with its competition. The six-axles have freed up the Geeps to focus on easier jobs, while the GP11's are being sold off or retired in the process. This bridge has always been a local fave and since September has been automated, with an audible alarm announcing a request to close or open, as well as an indication it is locked open. This train toned up their request a few miles out and allowed them to glide right across without stopping, a welcome relief to the crew. In November, they also changed their directional running to East & West, so this train is heading east to Clewiston.
