Remarks & Notes
The Stewartstown's Plymouth, nicknamed "Mighty Mo", is about to couple up to a 2-car Lancaster Chapter NRHS Special at New Freedom. To the left is the old PRR Northern Central, once double-tracked and a major passenger route between Baltimore and Harrisburg. Old No. 9 was built in 1943 for the South Carolina Port Authority, and was acquired by the Stewartstown in 1960. It weighs 35 tons and has a V8 Le Roi engine with a 4-speed manual transmission.
