Layups and Diversions.
A New York City Transit Authority (NYCTA) N train is seen approaching Bay 50th Street Station on the West End Line, with the Manhattan skyline standing tall in the background. A torrential downpour a couple hours earlier wreaked havoc on the BMT Southern Division, with fallen trees on the Brighton and Sea Beach Lines forcing all B, N, and Q trains to operate via the West End Line. Combined with the D and out-of-service R trains that operate on the line, this caused major congestion on the line - as well as some great photo opportunities!
