Remarks & Notes
The 82nd running of the popular CSX Santa Train was piloted by the railroad's recently released Clinchfield heritage unit, number 1902, a tribute to the primarily coal hauling railroad that instituted the holiday tradition during World War II. The train is seen crossing the Russell Fork River at a location called Skegg's Hole, just before its stop at Toms Bottom.
