Perfect precision landing in Choum. A few minutes after the Servrail tour group from Switzerland arrived in Choum in the minibuses from Atar, the empty iron ore train "V5" approached from the west on the approximately 650-kilometre journey from Nouadhibou on the Atlantic to Zouérate. The train also carries loaded water tankers, which are filled in Boulenouar at Pk 96 and supply all the towns along the route with water. The wagon queue, which is probably around 2 kilometers long, is pulled by four locomotives: SDL40-2 CC # 117, SD70ACS CC # 125, SDL40-2 CC # 113 and the GPL-15T BB # 213. The passing train is watched by two goats and Kadi and Edi. Kadi is the organizer of our trip, Edi Kunz from Switzerland, who has lived in Morocco for many years, is the tireless campaigner to promote tourism in Mauritania as well.
