At the Start...At Long Last. With title credit to the art work of Sheila Levrant de Bretteville that can be found on the mezzanine, the MTA NYCT Subway/New York Transit Museum Holiday Nostalgia Ride kicked off the first of 5 Sundays of operation this month, appropriately at the first station on the A Line after leaving the yard with the crew posing with R-1 381 decorated for the season. The train will operate four round trips each Sunday from 2nd Avenue (Houston Street-F Line) to 96 Street-2nd Avenue (Q Line) for no additional fare, so come and check it out!
