Remarks & Notes |
Left-Hand Yellow Line.
Montreal Metro MR-73 car 79-771 (Bombardier, 1976) is the lead unit on a Yellow Line train seen pulling into the terminus at Longueuil–Université-de-Sherbrooke. When the tail tracks are occupied during non-peak times, trains must make multiple maneuvers to change directions at the Yellow Line terminals due to the configuration of crossovers at these stations. Trains arrive and discharge passengers; then reverse out of the station, crossing to the other track in the process; pull back into the station on the other platform; and finally depart in the opposite direction. |
