The Santa Train And 2024. On Saturday, December 7, 2024, the Amtrak "2024 Santa Train" (Acela AMTK 2037) operated a pair of round trips for employees and their family and guests between Boston, Massachusetts and Kingston, Rhode Island, with Frosty, the Grinch, Rudolph and of course Mr. and Mrs. Claus making appearances to entertain the guests. The train is seen at Boston South Station in between trips as Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority/MBTX 2024 (HSP46) is departing, leading MBTA train 1077 to Greenbush.
