The sun sets at around 6.30 pm. There is a large supply of groundwater in Boulenouar, and 16 taps are set up at the station to fill the water tankers that supply the entire route with water. Later in the evening, a tanker train arrived from Nouadhibou, was filled here and the diesel locomotive drove around the train on the track visible here (turning loop).
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
