No drone photography here, this photo was taken by hiking along the right of way of the long-abandoned Erie Dunkirk Branch that passed over the Buffalo & South Western Division. It required about an 850ft hike through waist-deep snow, but the end result was worth it. With plenty of snow for the occasion, New York & Lake Erie's beautiful pair of MLW cab units, FPA-4 6764 and FPA-2u 6758, are returning to Gowanda from Dayton with the second of three holiday trains they were running on that day.
