Laid-up, Retired, Curated.
VIA Rail LRC locomotive 6921 is seen on one of the outdoor tracks at Exporail. The unit was one of 31 built for VIA from 1980-1984 along with passenger trainsets for use on the Quebec City-Windsor Corridor. The locomotives were retired in 2001, but many of the passenger cars are still in service for VIA. The initialism for the model is bilingual in the Canadian languages of English and French: Light, Rapid, Comfortable; Léger, Rapide, et Confortable.
