Shortly after sunset, the low-hanging clouds over Chicago envelop the taller buildings in the downtown area. CTA Brown Line train 421 (at least, that is the number that is displayed on car 3422 … but it could indicate something else) makes its stop at the Clark/Lake Station, near the "L"'s famed "Loop." CTA 3200-series car 3422 is leading this train as it heads north to the Kimball Station, in the city's Albany Park neighborhood. (Chicago, Illinois – September 30, 2018)
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
