| A pair of CN C40-8s - CN 2004 and CN 2040 - lead an extra train of empty flatcars (labeled as X724) - through the south end of Sutton siding in Chicago's western suburbs. The Dash 8s had been mainstays up on the Iron Range in northeast Minnesota for several years, but with new AC44C6M rebuilds arriving to take their place, they have begun to roam elsewhere. They are likely not long for this world, so it's nice to get a pair of them in great afternoon light on this part of the CN system. |
