Debuting the Mohawk, Adirondak & Northern Railroad's Alco C425 2455's repainting into a BC Rail inspired two-tone green paint scheme, a portion of the railroad's roster was posed at the engine house in Utica, New York for a night time family portrait. All four locomotives present spent time on BC Rail, with 2042 still wearing the BC Rail red, white & blue. MHWA 2453 and 2456, sisters to the 2455, wear the corporate colors of parent GVT Rail. All three C425's were originally built by Alco for the Erie Lackawanna.

A recent spike in a personal interest of the skill and work it takes to create and ultimately nail a shot in the dark using flash technology, leads to this album.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
