Remarks & Notes

One of the factors to take into consideration when planning a chase across this territory for KCS (now CPKC) is..."how badly will UP stab them". There is actually a lot of traffic on CPKC and they utilize quite a bit of UP trackage to & from the Laredo Subdivision. Here, the Holiday Express has completed its run and is deadheading back to Shreveport. In a couple miles they will be back on their own rails heading towards Houston.
