FCEN GP7u #57, wearing an SCL inspired paint scheme, leads the Florida Midland's Frostproof turn southbound out of Lake Wales. This line is the former ACL Haines City branch, which began in Haines City and ran south through south Central Florida connecting towns such as Lake Wales, Avon Park, Sebring, and Everglades City. Nowadays, the Florida Midland Railroad operates on the old branches trackage between Lake Wales and Frostproof once or twice a week. The lines largest customer, Lowes, sits at the southern end of the line in Frostproof, which is where most of this train's traffic is destined for.
