| Blue Skies and Late Fall Colors | Climbing the west (timetable north) slope of the Rich Mountain grade in the Ouachita Mountains of western Arkansas, a southbound CPKC manifest train snakes through an oft-photographed s-curve just past noon on a sunny Sunday, November 12, 2023. Past-peak fall colors on the surrounding trees create a nice contrast with the beautiful blue skies above. Shot on Kodak Ektachrome 100 film using a Nikon FM and a 50mm lens. |
