Remarks & Notes
With the combined CP & KCS, they were able to provide three holiday themed trains across the USA this year. The KCS Holiday Express handled 13 dates across Mississippi, Louisiana and Texas. As is usually the case, a majority of the moves between shows occurred overnight, but after this show in Port Arthur, they will have to trek across the state of Texas which IS bigger than you might think, so it would make a majority of the run south of Houston to Laredo in daylight.

Nocturnal Nuances: Sunset To Sunrise & All Through The Night!

Album created by member Dana M.
Album Views: 583,143
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
Bumblebees, Yellowjackets & (Murder?) Hornets! A ''Hive'' Of Equipment Wearing Yellow/Black!

From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)

A recent spike in a personal interest of the skill and work it takes to create and ultimately nail a shot in the dark using flash technology, leads to this album.
