Remarks & Notes
High and low hood versions of Alco's RS36 pose at East Greenwich, NY. The Batten Kill Railroad is host to an interesting mix of Alco "RS" models, including their original two RS-3s, one of which is seen here behind 408. The Delaware & Hudson scheme looks great on 5012, even though it's actually a former Atlantic & Danville unit.

New York state has the largest number of ALCO diesel locomotives working in everyday service. Here are some of them. Soon I hope to chronicle all of them.

From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
