Cresting the grade at Summit, BNSF Dash 9-44CW 5072 and ES44DC 7275 begin their decent downhill toward Hesperia and points east, although Distributed Power Units ES44C4 8184 and Dash 9-44CW 4016 are still at work shoving the rest of train S-LHGLPC1-30A uphill about a mile back. A coating of snow fell overnight, making this a "White New Year's Eve" on the Pass! (Cajon Pass, California – December 31, 2014)
