| The LIRR brought back its "Holiday Train" decorations for the 2024 season, decking out an eight car set with locomotives 502 and 506. Unfortunately, 506 suffered a mechanical failure and was left in Port Jefferson Yard, before the roustabout crew finally towed her back west to the shops a couple of days after Christmas. |
